‘Current research includes surveys on the use of saunas, hot springs, the Wim Hof Method and health retreats and along with laboratories studies on sweat using metabolomics, studies on the short term effects of hot spring bathing, retreat stays and consumption of herbal teas using advanced transcriptomics: assessing environmental chemical exposures in clinical practice; the lifestyle practices of world champion athletes; the impact of detoxification measures; the cognitive benefits of herbal teas that include tulsi (Ocimum sanctum), turmeric and hemp oil (cannabidiol); and the bathing biome that aims to remove the need for chlorine through the use of nano-biosensors, metagenomics and nano-ozone bubble technology.’
